In Campbell River they have wood carving contests, I think in July. They have a park to show some of the work that was done. Here are some of my favorite pieces. Hope you enjoy.

This Eagle was magnificent. The detail was impecable. The fist felt like a real fish. He even smelled like a real fish, well not really.

This is the drift wood piece. It was really cute. The fisherman only caught a mermaid, not the hundreds of clown fish near his bait.

This is Terri with Tara. She is wonderful. She has hosted us several times and we have had a great time getting to know her. She is very close to being considered for a Grandparent backup. My dad taught school when we lived in Grande Cache Alberta.
