Champoeg State Park

That is pronounced Shampoo E just in case you were wondering. So on Saturday it was beautiful, so we packed a picnic and headed out to the state park near by. It was wonderful. I can say that I love this place. Whenever I drive somewhere my heart and soul are fed by the beautiful scenery all around. Come here and you will see what I am talking about.

Alex hanging out in the Chariot.

The gang.

My Tag-along babe! She is fun to have tagging along, if I stop peddling to take a break, she is back there pushing me along. Thanks Tara!

And Morgan who loves to ride his bike, Tara's bike and any other big kids bike that is laying around. He would even try and ride mine if I wasn't so mean to him.

Ahhhhh I love the tree's

My thoughtful little girl, who loves being out in nature.

So I just wanted to document my cute slobbery faced boy. I love this bundle of joy so much. He is such a happy, easy little guy. He loves watching the other two stinkers, I'm just hoping he is thinking that he is going to be more mellow than them. Only time will tell.

If you click on the picture above you can get it to blow up. At that point you can see his two new teeth popping through. The one on the left has been here for a few weeks. The other one is new last week.

Oh and here is Morgan, he took this big green bin, I use for dirty clothes, emptied it on my floor and decided it would be good to use all around the house. For instance, it works as a ladder, it is fun to hide in, play with my cars, and lastly why not jump off of it. Oh I love my monkey boy!

Bread, T-ball and Goggles

So you can do this. It takes literally five minutes to make the dough. Here is the book (click here). Here is the video (click here) showing how easy it is. The girl I visit teach told me about it, so I ordered the book and tested it out yesterday. You put the ingredients in a container, mix (don't knead). Put in fridge for up to two weeks, until you want some fresh bread. Take out a little piece, form into a loaf (30 seconds) , let it rise for 40 min, then bake. Yummmm, it was delicious. And here is the thing, I have more dough in the fridge. I want bread tonight, so I take a little out, form and we can have fresh bread with dinner. Easy Peasy....you have to try it!

Tara has been doing T-ball with her buddy Carsen. They love it. It is really fun to see these little ones running around. They are the LIME Monkeys

Check out these dollar store goggles. Morgan loves them, has been wearing them everyday now.
Pretty cute huh!

Here are the cute little stinkers. They are sure growing up fast!

Here are a few more shots of the house. This is the entry way.

Morgan's room. I need to finish the dresser, it should match the bed, but I haven't done it yet.

Looking down the hall, towards the front door and the office. The dinning room is ahead on the left and the kitchen is directly to my left.

Look how long our lawn was. It was fertilized and growing like crazy. This was about a month ago. The park is in our backyard. We love it.

HAPPY MAY DAY
So we are still alive, in case you were wondering. I need to add pictures too, but thought I would just say hello. Life has been rather busy. I am always amazed at how quickly bedtime comes, seems like I need an extra three or so hours in the afternoon/evening to feel like I have had enough family time.
Does anyone else feel that way too?
Well here are our summer plans. If you live in any of these areas we would love to see you.

  • June 17th we are headed to St. George Utah for my family reunion. We are still trying to see if Eric will be able to come.
  • July 29th we are headed to Florida for a Christensen Family Reunion. It should be a blast!
Well I am going to post pictures hopefully later today. Love you all!
