Excuses Excuses
The other day while running I was thinking to myself about all the excuses we make. I decided often when we make an excuse for something, we are only holding ourselves back. My tv watching is very slim, but every week I watch the The Biggest Loser on hulu.com. I admit, I am a junkie. There is something about watching people learn how to help themselves overcome challenges that I enjoy.
I have learned so much about overcoming what you believe your weaknesses to be. I have learned how to push through excuses and find the long term happiness in good decision making. I could go on, but many of you who watch probably know what I am talking about.
Overall, don't put off today what you won't do tomorrow. Raise the bar for yourself and see what you can achieve. Do it with your eating habits, your exercise, your scripture reading, your prayer. Learn to be better. That's why we are here on this earth, isn't it!

Camping
Last weekend we went camping with three other families from our ward. Turned out that word got around. The three families shared a campsite, three other families rented their own, the bishop rented a yurt and another family rented a tepee. It was fun. I ended up sleeping in the car with a sad Alex, but it was fun nonetheless. We hope this is one of the many camping trips we take this summer.

OMSI and Oatmeal
Here are some pictures of our trip to OMSI (Oregon Museum of Science and Industry). It was a grand day and when you all come and visit, we will go together. So come visit :o)

Here are my in-laws. Isn't this an awesome picture. Infrared. Sally's nose is colder than Dale's.

We have been working on a retaining wall for a garden bed. It has been a hard job, one that I cannot do by myself. Here Eric is helping me out, but this has been a rare sighting. Hopefully we can finish it soon. Then I will post pictures.

Alex wanted Oatmeal, but didn't want to wait for me to cook it. So he helped himself.
He loved eating it. Interesting
