Green Grass and Roses

So I am amazed by the weather out here. It is very nice and mild.  I have yet to experience the whole winter, but I am already enjoying it more than Alberta, Idaho and Utah....We have roses blooming in our front yard, they are almost finished, but last week this blossom came out.  I thought it was just beautiful.  We also are still mowing the lawn, crazy!!!!

Happy Birthday Mom

I just wanted to wish my mom a Happy Birthday on her day.  You are so very special to me and I am so happy, proud, and grateful to be your daughter.  You have taught me so much and have been such an example to me.  I really don't think you know how much I admire the person you are!  You are such a strength to me and my family, in so many ways.  I just want you to know you are loved by us and we appreciate all you are and all you do.  Have a wonderful day! We love our Grammie!!!
Sherry's 4th Birthday

The Poot's (Tara's word to describe a stinker, it is now a common household word.) Isn't my mom so beautiful.  To this day she has yet to age...I hope I can keep up with her.  People will be asking if we are sisters when we hang out.

Heather and Mom

On our trip to California in May.

Random Happenings

Last night we had tacos, one of our favorite meals...we decided to take a picture or two...I know they are really classy.
Morgan not too happy about participating in the photo shoot. Oh well.
Taco Tara.  She loves hard shell tacos with cheese and sour cream.  What a character!
Refried Beans, YUMMM!
Eric/Dad? Is that you?

So this is Morgans outfit of choice yesterday. Yes we love the socks.  Grandma gave them to Tara and she loves them.  But apparently Morgan does too!  He wears them almost anytime he can, under his pajamas, to church (and yes the girls behind us were laughing at his socks), and all around the house.  What can you do?
My sister-in-law Honor wrote a comment on how a dirty child is a happy child.  I just thought I would document that for her.  She was 100% correct.  I love having a big fenced in yard.
My sleeping little angel, Alex.  Too cute!
Here is a picture of the kitchen area with Alex sitting in his bouncer.
Last Friday we had a fire outside and made dinner. It was a ton of fun! Here are Tara and Morgan.
And here is our Fire Master, Eric...what a guy!  Like our walmart clearance fire pit?
Here is Alex all bundled up. He liked watching the fire and was so relaxed he fell asleep.  Surprising?

The Cutest Little Girl

So while looking for pictures today, I came across this video of Tara when she was just shy of 3 years old.  It made me smile and feel all warm and fuzzy inside.  Life has gone by so quickly and my once small baby girl is a big girl.  I hope you enjoy her little song as much as I did.

Lil' Update

Here is the house we are living in.

Here is the first half of the living room. You are looking into the toy/computer room.

Now I'm standing at those french doors looking the other way, into the living room.

So here is a view of the lake, which is suppose to come up to the dock (bottom of picture) in the next few months. I guess it empties during the summer and fills back up each winter.

Here is Morgan going back up from the lake (notice the boots).

So Morgan thought he'd try on Daddy's boots....lovely! The only problem was walking.

Here he is trying to get back up.

HAIR CUT

Here is the mop before the hair cut.

Here is the after picture of Alex's hair cut. Yes I know he is only 2 months old, but it was looking rather shaggy.

I thought it looked pretty good. Isn't he cute.

HALLOWEEN PICTURES

Morgan was dragging his bag behind him, it was so funny.
Witch Tara and Dragon Morgan.

Check out that hair of Tara's. It is the same nasty wig I had when I was a kid.

Carving the pumpkin.

THE BOOTS

Ready for church....with the boots on. He was sad, cause I was chasing him to get them off..."Oh please Mommy can't I wear the boots".

They love playing in the yard.

Bought these boots for the kids...Morgan put them on in the store and wore them for the following week....straight. He loves them. I can now manage to pull them off him without a fight.

RANDOM UPDATE PICTURES

Grandpa and his infamous iphone. He loves taking pictures and so he is passing the trait onto his granddaughter Tara.

Oh bless Grandma for putting up with these stinkers while she was here. Morgan and Tara like to wear a person out.

Here is most of the people/family from the blessing. It was a great time. Thanks for coming and helping with the food everyone.
